ClubSponsorshipHawks Go Blue For Charity!

November 8, 20200

Your GreenLite Group Blackburn Hawks are thrilled to reveal our limited edition blue warm-up jersey for the upcoming season, and we dedicated it to Lancashire MIND & the NHS!

Over the last week, we have launched all three of our game jerseys to much fanfare, and we think many of our fans will also fall in love with this jersey, just as much as the Hawks management team do!

The jersey, which has been designed by the award-winning Key & Eagle Digital Media design team, will be manufactured by our official merchandise partners Dunamis Sports. The jersey features the Hawks’ new secondary logo at its heart on a traditional hockey jersey design, with just a flare of Hawks uniqueness about it. Once again, thanks to the team at Key & Eagle, we’re also delighted to say you can NOW view it in 3D!

Hawks Co-Owner, Carl Everitt, commented on the launch fo the clubs warm-up jersey;

“’Firstly, both myself and all of us at your Greenlite Group Blackburn Hawks hope you’re staying safe and well during these testing times and we can’t wait to see you all back at the ‘Fridge’ cheering on the team.

Today we’re delighted to not only launch your New Online Hawks Store (at 6pm) but more importantly we’re delighted to bring to you our new Warm-Up Jersey, which honours our wonderful and brave people working within our NHS whom keep us safe and well physically, but also Lancashire MIND, whom work so hard to help support local people with their Mental Health.

Over the recent years, the Blackburn Hockey Family have experienced difficult losses, from Jon Adam’s, our beloved Canadian import, to Rob Craig, who’s annual memorial event continues to raise awareness, to huge Hawks Fan Lee Hoyle and his family over the passing of his daughter Megan, and we cannot forget Joan Brigdale who did so much for our club.

We’re delighted to be able to honour and thank these two great organisations in this way and we would also like to thank Key & Eagle’s design team on another great design. I can’t wait to see our Dunamis Sportswear produced Warm up jerseys when our season eventually starts. Thank you all for your continued support, stay safe and be kind to one another’.”

Emma Bateson, Fundraising Lead of Lancashire Mind commented:

“We are delighted that the Blackburn Hawks have chosen to support Lancashire Mind and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the club.  As a charity we are working towards a Lancashire where: we can all achieve good mental health and wellbeing, people living with a mental health condition get the right support when needed and we don’t treat people differently because of their mental health. We can’t achieve our vision of Mental Wellbeing for All alone which is why the partnerships of organisations such as the Blackburn Hawks mean so much.”

As mentioned when we launched our game jerseys, at the moment the governing bodies are working hard to try & achieve a league format for the 2020/21 season, and we’ll endeavour to keep everyone up to speed with any developments going forward. If for any reason there is no league this season, the 4 designs from this season will “carry over” to when the sport we all love returns!

Be sure to check back tonight at 6pm as we launch our brand new online shop, HawksStore, with guaranteed Christmas delivery on all items ordered before the end of November!
