returning back to blackburn is Malachi Budd welcome back.

Budd is a player again we have had around since the beginning. We had him out a couple times in that first year a bit later and he stuck. Again he is a kid that is still quite young. He’s got great skills and just needs work on his all around hockey sense.

He has improved every year he’s been with us and he is an amazing kid to have a round. With him it’s great because he can still play on a two way with the Aces. He has stepped in all over the forward line up and we can count on him to give nothing but us best.

Again a depth player for us he has such an amazing attitude on the bench and in the room. He’s a quiet guy who just gets on with it. He’s also a player we don’t have to worry about disrupting the room or the bench as we had in certain situations in the past when sometimes not getting the ice time we would love to give him.

I’m happy to have Budd back and look forward to seeing further development from him this season.

I’m very happy to be back for another season with the hawks and to be playing back in front of all the great fans. having the opportunity to continue to develop and work under all the great people in the organisation again is amazing.
