Welcome to Blackburn Noah Kääriäinen,

This is a signing that proves we are moving in the right direction. Noah will be a top dman in this league in time. I feel he is on the cusp of the National League at the moment just returning to the country. To be able to add him to our Dcore and with playing back with Devids to start as well as the caliber players we have I feel we will see his game shoot to a higher level very quickly.

We have him slotted in the line up to play a regular shift as well as special teams to start. He can skate very well and his skill set is great for his age. He will only get better with time and I feel he will adjust to the level quickly playing with the guys we have already signed.

Our goal has always to offer an opportunity for players to gain valuable game experience while staying competitive. I think we have a great mix of that at the moment. We want to continue to not only stay competitive but to evolve and signings like this are the way you tick both these boxes.

There may be a two way in the national league waiting in the wings which tells me we are on the right track with Noah. I’m sure this will materialise in time. Really excited with all of our younger signings and can’t wait to see what Noah can accomplish at our level. Welcome on board Noah.

Im delighted to sign for the Hawks, it’s a great team to play for. The squad has a mix of young exciting players with potential and experienced players who I’m looking forward to learning from.
