Aaron Davies a fan favourite is back for his 21st season here’s what Dom had to say.

“For me this was a must. To get Aaron back for another year was big for us. Aaron has lead this team for the last two seasons under myself and Ollie. The way he has adjusted has showed he is willing to do anything for the team and organisation. Aaron was a guy I signed that was counted mainly on point production in the last season. I explained to him the plan and asked him to completely retool his game to a two way player. He’s done exactly that.

He is a true leader in the sense of showing every guy in the room that no matter where you play in the lineup and what role you are asked to play you can have a massive affect on the outcome of not only winning hockey games but helping to create a culture that will lead to success. I’m thrilled to have our Captain back for another season. He never takes a shift off and so glad he’s around to show the younger boys the way.”

Aaron had the following to add.

“How could I stay away? With the success we had last year and being a part of what Ollie and Dom have built, it’ll be an absolute honour to return as captain and see what happens over the next few months. I’m beyond excited to rejoin the Blackburn Hawks for my 21st season!

The energy, the camaraderie, and the unwavering support from our fans make this team special. Last season’s achievements have only fueled my passion and determination to push even harder. I can’t wait to hit the ice with my teammates and strive for greatness once again.
