Your Blackburn Hawks are delighted to announce the renewal and extension of our successful partnership with Everlast Gyms for the next two seasons.
Carl Everitt, Co-Owner stated:
‘ As some people now know, Our Vision is to create a club that aims to provide an experience deserving of recommendation for everyone including players, and it’s fair to say that slowly but surely we’re on our way. One element of our plan that I feel has really helped our athletes is the fitness facilities support that our Official Gym Partners – Everlast Gyms have provided our players throughout the 22/23 season.
Partnering with Everlast Gyms, has been fantastic and as they have a real passion for promoting Health and Fitness in their local communities, especially Blackburn, I contacted them to see if they would be interested in renewing our partnership.
After meeting with #TeamEverlast , I’m delighted to announce that Everlast Gyms have committed to being the Official Gym Partner of the Blackburn Hawks for the next TWO seasons (23/24 & 24/25) , providing free training and leisure facilities to all Blackburn Hawks players and coaching staff for 12 months, not only at our local Everlast Gym in Blackburn but at any Everlast Gym facility in the country, along with key advice and support for our athletes when needed.
I feel that this is a great benefit to our existing players and any new players joining the club. This will enable Dom to once again prepare the team for the season and allow the players to further reach their potential.
I would like to thank Gareth, Charlie, Darrell and the team at Everlast Gyms (Frasers Group) for helping to make this successful partnership for seasons to come’
Dominic Osman, Hawks Head Coach commented on the renewed partnership:
‘The fact that we have such a reputable fitness centre back on board for the next two seasons is another massive boost for the players that come to Blackburn.
The facilities that Everlast offer, not only for strength and conditioning but recovery is something not many teams are able to offer for players at our level.
It just goes to show that Hawks Management truly understand the importance of looking after the players to help them improve at our level, especially the younger guys that we plan to work with. The fact that Players that are traveling to us can continue to use the gyms near their own homes is huge for them and one less worry about yet another cost.
Again, from a coaching standpoint if a player is serious about their development and want to get to the next level, we will be committed to help them do exactly that not only on the ice but off the ice as well. This is just another factor that proves that we continue to go in the right direction here in Blackburn, for everyone’s benefit, I’d like to thank Everlast Gyms for all their support this season and beyond, whilst looking forward to building on our partnership in the future’.
