Your Greenlite Group Blackburn Hawks are delighted to announce that Hawk’s forward, James Riddoch will be returning to the club for the 2021/22 season.

Hawks Head Coach – Mike Clancy had the following to say about James’ return:

“I’m not sure Ridz needs much of an introduction to the Hawks fans, an another player I was keen to secure the services of for the coming season. He’s an asset to the team at both ends of the ice and someone I expect to contribute well in the goals I’ve set..”

James himself, made the following comments:

“It’s great to be back for another season with the Hawks, I think everybody has been missing hockey during the Covid break but it’s finally time to get back into it. I think a lot of players, including myself took a lot of positives from the Mini Series games and how it was handled as a team. I’m still looking to better my game as a player and with the new coach on board there will be lots to learn. Can’t wait to get the team together and get back playing in front of the fans in Blackburn again.”

GM Adrian Charnock stated the following in regards to the latest Hawks announcement:

“I don’t think there was ever a doubt that Ridz would be back in a Hawks jersey. He’s been a part of the Blackburn set up for years and still plenty of playing years to go. Although playing only a few games last season, his game has come on under the new coaching set up and that showed, finding the net frequently in the short format. I’m confident Ridz will be getting his fair share of points this season, that’s for sure.”
