Weekend Preview

Defining Weekend for the Hawks

Full 9 Yards sponsored Blackburn Hawks are gearing up for the most important game of the season this weekend.

Hawks will travel to Telford on Saturday to take on the Tigers in a Moralee Division game (face off 1900hrs), before entertaining Billingham Stars on Sunday in a vital league game with face off at the usual time of 1730hrs.

With just 4 weekends left in the regular season, the fight for the last play-off place looks like a battle between the Hawks and the Stars. Hawks are 3 points ahead with a game in hand and the teams meet home and away over the next two weekends.

Results so far could not be closer with each winning a game apiece in the North Cup and have also split the league series so far with a win for each team.
