Following our annual teddy toss and Christmas gift appeal, Player Coach James Neil, along with Hawks Ambassador Ollie Lomax, all time leading goalscorer Aaron Davies and defenseman Ethan Mayoh presented the gifts to staff at Royal Blackburn Hospital this morning.
The Blackburn Hawks would like to extend a huge thank you to all fans who took part in the teddy toss and toy appeal, to help make Christmas that bit brighter for local children who are too poorly to spend Christmas at home.
James Neil send his thanks to all of our fans and everybody connected to the Hawks: “Everyone at the Hawks would like to say a huge thank you for your generosity and kindness for your donations towards the teddy bear toss and food bank.
It’s always a privilege to help deliver the teddies and gifts to the young children in hospital over Christmas, putting a smile on their faces.
We are grateful that you could help make Christmas Day special for those children who are not as fortunate.
Merry Christmas to all the Hawks fans, thanks for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you in the new year”.
Aaron commented: “What a start to Christmas Eve, met with few of the lads and delivered the toys and teddies for the kids at Blackburn hospital that the great fans of the Hawks donated… Thank you to all those that donated toys and teddies”.
